Description

A compact AM/FM radio–cassette deck from Chateau, recovered with missing controls and incomplete labels and returned to full working order. The original tuning knob has been replaced with a custom metal cap, hand-lettered to indicate function, and the play/fast-forward/stop cluster is now clearly marked. Additional handwritten notes and small drawings have been added directly to the surface, indexing both the object’s prior life and the intervention that brought it back into use.

Stereo speakers are clear, and the tape transport performs reliably. Forward-only playback reflects the mechanism’s inherent limitation.
