SkreetSweeper Keychain - Edition 01.06

$395.00

Hand-altered keychain featuring an antique solid silver crumb brush with pewter bow.

Category: Remade
File Under: Domestic Object, Upcycled Accessory

Description

A one-of-one keychain built around an antique solid silver crumb brush—once used to clear table linens between courses. The brush retains its natural fibre bristles and remains fully functional. A salvaged pewter bow, sourced from a broken jewelry lot, is affixed to the front, adding a small, formal flourish to a utilitarian domestic tool.

The silver component brings inherent material and historical value, now shifted from dining etiquette to everyday carry. A hand-stamped aluminum tag reads “Chains, against standardized life and death,” stating the artist’s commitment to singular, functional objects over mass-produced accessories.

Intended for daily use. Silver will deepen in patina over time; handle with care to preserve bristles and detail.
